Do you work alone or have a team?

Most sessions are one-on-one with just me and my client – but I have an amazing, talented crew to draw on for large jobs with quick timelines.

There are many professional organizers out there, how are you different?

I had a career as a scientist and with this comes with an extreme ability to be unbiased and non-judgemental. I also worked as a postpartum doula for several years and I’ve seen so many parallels in being an emotional support during a time of transition within the home. And as someone who has moved more times than most people, I have a unique eye for the things that truly matter.

Can you come get rid of my things without me being there?

Typically this is the part of the process when we work together. In some situations I can work through items alone and sort out suggested items to part with. Final decision-making power always rests with you.

How long is a session?

I work in four- to six-hour power-packed sessions. I value your time and money and work as efficiently and sensitively as possible. For those who are up for it, I leave you with achievable and empowering amounts of “homework” between sessions.

What will I do with all the items I decide to get rid of?

I work hard to find a resource for recycling almost anything you want to part ways with. For each community I work in, I have a list of outlets for disposal of all categories of household items. Included in each session – I haul away one load of donations so you have one less thing to do!

How much do you charge?

My rate is among the lowest in the business – please contact me for my current rate. One of my ultimate goals is to save you money by helping you see what you already have and eliminate your need for expensive offsite storage.

How should I prepare for a session with you?

An empty sink and hamper are the two things I suggest – this helps us be off and running immediately. With all else, it’s actually very helpful for me to see the systems you have created over time so we can refine them in ways that we know will work for you. And please don’t spend any time being anxious or embarrassed! I arrive with zero judgement and I’m honored to work with you at any stage of the process.

Why don’t you have before & after photos on your website?

One of my highest values is confidentiality. I highly respect the privacy of the people who invite me into their homes and I do not share what I see in your home – or the stories you share – with others. 

What is your cancellation policy?

When you schedule with me I hold that time on the calendar for you and decline other bookings. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the hours scheduled. This policy of respecting time held on the calendar is part of what allows me to keep my prices so low.
